Cherub book 2 The Dealer by Robert Muchamore

This is one of my favorite books. I have read it before in 5th grade. I really enjoyed this. Cherub is about kids who are orphans. They are taken in by this government program. They are used for spying on major criminals. I made my book trailer about it. I enjoy the book so much because it is a very fast paced book.

The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke

Twelve year old Prospero and five year old Boniface live in Italy. After their mom dies, their wealthy uncle and aunt want to adopt them. The only problem is that they only want to adopt Bo ( Boniface). They want to send Prospero to boarding school. So they run away to Venice. They stay in an abandoned theater where the thief lord (Scipio Massimo) takes care of them.
I liked this book but it was not the most advanced book. It was an easy read.

The Last Apprentice Book 2 Curse of the Bane by Joseph Delany

I really enjoyed this book. Its sort of a creepy thriller book. Its a lot different to what i usually read. Thomas is the spooks apprentice. The spook protects the area from ghosts witches and threats like that. At times it can be a very creepy book. Normally I don't really enjoy creepy books like that but the way he rights it there is a good balance between creepiness and more normal things.

3 complete adventures of Tin Tin by Herge

Tin Tin is a graphic novel about a reporter and his dog. They get into all sorts of misadventures from finding treasure, to catching criminals, to going to the moon. I really liked this. It is a lot different then a lot of things i read and it was very enjoyable to read it. The illustrations are very bright and lively.

Death Run by Jack Higgins and Justin Richards

This book is the second book of three in the series. the first book is about two kids who have never met their dad, and live with their mom. When their mom gets killed by a speeding car, they finally meet their dad. They learn that he is actually a secret agent. In Death Run, their vacation to Venice turns bad. The master criminal called the Tiger is after John chance.

I liked this book a lot. I read the first one a few years ago and liked this one just as much. It is a fast paced book which i enjoy.

The Lord of the Rings book #1 by J.R.R Tolken

I read the first lord of the rings. I likes the book a lot, but it was slow getting started. Tolken wanted it to be one long book, but the editors broke it up into three books. I enjoyed it, but its like reading 500 pages of the prologue, it just didn't get to the point fast enough. I enjoy a lot more fast paced books. I have read one of his other books, the hobbit, and it was much more fast paced then the lord of the rings. After reading the hobbit, I was expecting it to be the same way. Aside from that, it was great.

Vlog

I could not post the video last night for some reason. It would not let me for some reason so i will post the script.

I am talking about The Book Thief. We read the book in lit class. It is about a girl in Nazi Germany in 1942. She is not Jewish but dose a lot of things that will get her killed. I liked the book, but I think I would have liked it better if we didn’t read it in class. So I could go at my own pace and not have to read it twice. That is one thing that I would have to read twice to prepare for the test. So that took some of the fun of reading the book out. One on the reasons why I liked it was that it kept you interested the entire time. If it got boring, it would only be for a chapter or two. When we did it for lit class, it was much easier to prepare for the discussion then TKAM. In TKAM there were only so many points you could bring up, because it was not nearly as action filled as The Book Thief. So I found it easier to prepare for the discussion because so much more would happen in the chapter then in To Kill a Mockingbird.
